Rescued from Carolina ground and given a second light, each of our bottles carries a bit of history worth keeping. We are pleased to offer antique medicine, soda, milk, ink, and whiskey bottles recovered from old riverbanks, creek beds, and forgotten homesteads across North Carolina's coastal plain, sandhills, and piedmont regions.

Our Story
Second Light Bottle Co. began with Mark & Kathy, who spend their days walking old riverbanks and creek beds across North Carolina — the coastal plain, the sandhills, the piedmont regions — places where a town once dumped its trash, a dock once stood, or a forgotten homestead sat a hundred years gone. Every bottle arrives caked in good Carolina dirt, and cleaning it by hand is where the real discovery happens: a dirt-crusted shape reveals itself to be a medicine bottle from a rural pharmacy, a milk bottle from a dairy long since closed, or a soda bottle embossed with the name of a town that scarcely exists anymore. It is our pleasure to give each bottle exactly what our name promises — a second light, cleaned up proper, researched with care, and ready for a good home.
