Acceptance of terms

These terms govern your use of the Second Light Bottle Co. website and any request or purchase you make through it. By using this site or submitting a checkout request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

Product descriptions & authenticity

Bottles listed on this site are antique items rescued from private homestead sites and sold largely as-found (uncleaned) or cleaned, as noted on each listing. Condition, era, origin, and capacity details are provided in good faith based on our own research (including AI-assisted cataloging reviewed by our team) and are estimates, not guarantees, measurements, or professional appraisals. Products are sold "as is" and "as described," without any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except as expressly stated on the listing itself.

Orders & payment

Adding items to your cart and submitting a checkout request does not charge you or complete a sale. It sends us your contact information and requested items so we can follow up directly to arrange payment and delivery or pickup. Submitting a request reserves the item(s) temporarily but is not a binding sale until payment and delivery/pickup terms are agreed between you and us. All sales are final once payment and delivery/pickup are agreed and completed, except as described in our Shipping & Returns policy.

Sales tax

Where required by law, applicable sales tax will be calculated and added to your total when payment is arranged directly with you. This site does not currently calculate tax automatically.

Wholesale & subscriptions

Wholesale and subscription arrangements, including bundle-lot purchases, are negotiated individually and are not final until confirmed in writing (including by email) between you and Second Light Bottle Co.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, brand marks, and design of this site belong to Second Light Bottle Co. and may not be copied or reused without our permission, except that you may share links to individual listings.

Limitation of liability

Second Light Bottle Co. provides this site and its products "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or purchase of our products, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the item(s) giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
