Milk Glass Medicine Bottle, c. 1900s-1930s

$20

We are pleased to offer this collection of small milk glass jars , recovered from the Piedmont, NC, and dating to the early decades of the twentieth century. Standing just 3.5 inches tall with a modest four-ounce capacity, it has been gently cleaned and presents in good condition, its soft opaque white with several having embossing on the bottom. Bottles of this size and glass were common to household remedies of the era, making it a fitting relic of everyday life on the Piedmont a century ago. A fine and gracious little gift for anyone drawn to the modest beauty of old glass.
