We are pleased to offer this clear sixteen-ounce whiskey bottle, embossed CUMBERLAND COUNTY DISPENSARY FAYETTEVILLE N.C., recovered from an old homestead site in the Coastal Plain of North Carolina. Dating from the 1900s to 1910s, it comes from the brief era when county dispensaries held the legal liquor trade in their hands common a hundred years ago, and seldom seen today. The bottle remains in good condition, with the honest wear one would expect of a century's rest in Carolina soil. A fine addition to a collection of state bottles, and ready for a good home.
